The Crown is located in the pretty village of Croston. We are a popular Lancashire Country Pub because of our idyllic location.We have the best of both worlds; we are wedged firmly between Chorley and Southport, however we are also close to the River Ribble and the Yarrow. There are three fishing lakes within casting distance of our front door and we are situated on a popular cyclist route.

Our pub is always full of a great mix of people; outdoor enthusiasts resting from their long walk or cycle, friendly locals enjoying the perfect pint, families filling up on our hearty dinners and tired fishermen cosying up next to our log fire.

Our refurbishment has given us a more modern look but don’t worry we haven’t lost any of our character and charm! We’ve recently added a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities, craft beers from around the world, an extended quality wine list and monthly cheese and wine tasting events to our village pub.

Our reputation is for offering a great range of cask ales and world beers; we love our ale and always have something new on offer you our guests to try. Our Cask Marque accreditation means we pull the perfect pint every time, so come and join us for a drink!
